INSERM Training – Communicating as a scientist

1. Tailor-made training “Communicating as a scientist”
Design of a program tailored to the laboratory’s realities: types of research conducted, institutional challenges, team expectations, and initial communication skills.
2. Practical communication workshops
Small group work to :
- Simplify a complex message
- Build an explanation at multiple levels
- Answer difficult questions
- Adapt your speech depending on the audience (media, students, decision-makers, general public)
3. Co-creation of a shared strategy
A collective session to define:
- The key messages of the laboratory
- Priority formats (social media, posters, oral presentations, popularization)
- Best writing and speaking practices
- A unified editorial line for future communications
4. Oral exercises and role-playing
Simulations of interviews, scientific pitches, and short presentations, with personalized feedback and concrete areas for improvement.
